IT HAS BEEN EXCITING TO SEE G-APSA
FLYING ONCE AGAIN IN BRITISH EAGLE COLOURS DURING 2008.
IT IS NOW CONFIRMED THAT G-APSA WILL BE FLYING INTO INNSBRUCK,
ONE OF HER ROUTES WITH EAGLE, ON 26th OCTOBER 2008.
ON 27th OCTOBER SHE WILL FLY INTO BERLIN TEMPELHOF, WHERE SHE ALSO
FLEW WHILST WITH EAGLE.
THE BERLIN VISIT IS A MEMORIAL TO THE BRITISH CIVILIAN CREWS WHO GAVE
THEIR LIVES DURING THE BERLIN AIRLIFT.
AT NIGHT, ON 30th OCTOBER, G-APSA WILL BE THE LAST
INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE EVER FROM HISTORIC TEMPELHOF,
WHICH CLOSES FOREREVER ON THAT DAY.
ON NOVEMBER 7th THE AIRCRAFT WILL DEPART ROTTERDAM TO HEATHROW
TO RE-ENACT THE FINAL PASSENGER FLIGHT OF BRITISH EAGLE
TO LONDON AIRPORT EXACTLY 40 YEARS AGO.
DESPITE SIGNIFICANT SPONSORSHIP FOR THESE IMPORTANT EVENTS,
AIR ATLANTIQUE ARE MAKING A VERY LARGE CONTRIBUTION
FROM THEIR OWN FINDS TO ALLOW THESE FLIGHTS TO PROCEED,
THERE IS STILL A SHORTFALL AND THE COMPANY
WOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR EVEN THE SMALLEST DONATION TO ASSIST.

WILL BE SENT TO ALL DONATORS.
