NEWS HAS JUST ARRIVED SAYING THAT THE MALTA AVIATION MUSEUM INTEND TO REPAINT G-AMPT AN EX EAGLE AVIATION DOUGLAS DC 3 BACK INTO ITS EAGLE AVIATION COLOURS

Quote from Malta Aviation Museum:
The general plan is as follows: we shall be building a new hangar next year with EU funding. The hangar should be completed by October 2010. Once the hangar is completed then we can move G-AMPT inside and start its restoration. We hope to officially inaugurate the new hangar in April 2011.

That means we shall see in the next few years a Dc3, Dc6 and a Bristol Britannia returned to Eagle colours, covering the three main operating names used by the Eagle Group of Companies.

Urgently needed any pictures of DC 3 G-AMPT in Eagle Aviation colours. This is to assist in recording the history of the aircraft whilst in use by Eagle Aviation. It will also assist in the repainting back into Eagle Aviation later on.    Contact  britisheagleint@aol.com      Many thanks
